  1. Do you have a retainer?

Depending on the amount of correction your braces were required to do, there will be some 'rebound,' where your teeth try to go back to the way they were.  This causes them to be quite sensitive.  If you have a retainer wear it, since it helps to slow and stop the rebound.  If the pain persists for more than three days with no improvement definitely call your dentist.

  2. It could just be the post removal soreness. I know when I saw the orthodontist (every time - to get new bands/chains on) my mouth always really hurt the next 2 days. If it was a bit of a rough time getting them off - that is prob. it. Call your Dr. to be sure. In the meantime you can use some ambasol to ease the pain. Also - rinse with a peroxide/water mix to keep the germs at bay.

  3. normalll!

like u had to get used when u got braces on - u have to get used to walk without..

just eat a lot of ice cream and by tomorow its gone..

go to the party man! just drink some cold beers it will help also

  4. hmmmm you should go and tell the dentist/ ortho whats going on and ask if it's normal. i don't think it's normal. when i got mine off i felt like i had no teeth which is ridiculous the only thing that hurt was them scraping the glue off. i would schedule an appt or just ask over the phone and ask them any questions that you might have so they can give you the complete detailed answers your looking for

you should be exstatic that you got your braces off now you have perfect teeth just don't think about it and when in doubt ask the professionals they know best. we can give you guesses but were not experts so ask them.
