BRACES help!!!?

ok i just got my braces on yesterday and thats all fine and dandy. they hurt 2day , but the pain is managable. my question is... today im going in at 3:00 so he can fix 3 brackets that didnt bond as well as he wanted them to. since my teeth r already sore from the braces, will it hurt rlly bad when hes working on me?? thnx!!! <33 =)

i don&#039;t think it will hurt. make sure he really cut the extra wire properly. if not it will make your mouth sore and you can get ulcer. usually after tightening the wire, you will be in pain in 2-3 days. take painkiller to reduce the pain.

Just tell him, and he should be able to avoid any further discomfort. Follow the advice about taking a painkiller before the appointment. If something is hurting you especially bad, let the dentist know.

In general, you get used to the pain in a week or so. Sorry if that isn&#039;t what you want to hear but...

unfortunately yes. Just take some over the counter pain pills. Your mouth will be sore for a day or two

I experienced a lot of pain while i had braces mostly because of my sensitive teeth.  My dentist gave me great advice though.

Take a pain-killer like advil an hour or so before your appointment.  It will kick in about the time you are getting worked on and continue to ease pain through the appointment.
