I will make a long story short... or try to at least. Last year on August 19, I fainted in my husband's Aunt's front yard... He gave me CPR to revive me. I did not go to the hospital, as I chalked it up to a hot Texas summer day... The following week I was hit with a massive Migraine (which I have had sporatically before, began during my first pregnancy 4 years ago) I went to the E.R. and was given a shot of Demerol to ease the migraine pain. I have the classic migraine, or commonly known as Scintillating Scotoma, or visual and speech defects during migraine. The ER Doc asked me if I'd had a CT Scan in the past...my answer was no. So he ordered one. He came back in 15 minutes with results of a 4mm Lesion in the left frontal lobe. He ordered an MRI and MRA to be done in Sept. of 07. The lesion proved to be "non-enhancing" with contrast material, but was still labeled as "questionable"... MY QUESTION IS::: This is the ONLY info I have ever received about my "condition", and if in fact it is not a condition, no one ever explained anything to me. I never went for a follow up in November as I was ordered to because my husband lost his job and lost our insurance, and I am JUST NOW getting insurance back, effective 11-1-08... Has anyone ever heard of a "frontal lobe lesion" or anything related? All I find online is horror stories about brain cancer, and tumor survivors and severe personality disorders, none of which I feel I have. Help someone, please shed light on this issue for me!!!
