  1. lift up on the brake pedal with tip of your foot, if lights go off, switch need a little adjusting...nothing serious or expensive...

  2. check your brake light switch on your brake pedal you have a little rubber t*t that makes contact with switch and it is probably broke. it may just be out of adjustment. take a small screwdriver and push in on switch and see if your lights go out. if not check your fuses and relays. or worst case you could have a wire shorted out.

  3. Your brake switch on the brake pedal is stuck on.  Try replacing it,

    Good luck...

  4. Their answers are correct, but make sure its the brake light switch you are checking and not the Cruise control deactivation switch which is located next to it.

  5. it's your brake switch, or, make sure your brake pedal is coming all the way back up.  Pull it upwards and see if it moves.  It's possible the trim panel under the dash is loose and pinning it down, or some jack has put a rats nest of wiring that is interfering with the pedal travel.

Just get on your back in the floorboard, remove the trim panel, and look at the pedal closely.  You should see the switch.
