*BREAKING NEWS* US Combat Troops Out of Iraq by October 2010

Question

All US troops must leave cities and stay on bases by June 2009, By 2011 ALL coalition troops must leave the country. This is breaking news and both sides are very close to a deal.

What is your reaction to this breaking News??

I read the same article and it said "near agreement". Nothing is in writing...How can you can use the words "must"?  Honestly  in the military community we have been hearing stuff like this for sooo long that I will believe it when I see it.

As it should be, an agreement between two sovereign nations coming to a mutual understanding. At least we didn't pull out when the going got tough like some advocated.

Im curous about afgahanastan now more than iraq my husband might wind up in afghan instead of iraq and the situation is still pretty bad there
