The news has just been broke and it appears that 'Pretty Boy' Floyd Mayweather JR has just retired!!!! what are your guy's opinions on this??? do you think he is trying to avoid facing Oscar or what?? what do you think would motivate him to do this Yet again, do you think he will return just like he did after he beat Oscar last time???

Rumor has it that this retirement may last longer than 15 minutes. Anyway, I'm sick of "Pretty Girl" and her cowardly ring antics. I prefer to see fighters, not runners.

Anyways I cant see anybody else draw other than Oscar De La Hoya(Golden Boy), who is about to retire.

I honestly think he is being truthful. He clearly doesn't have a passion for the sport anymore and is just looking for money. He's not scared of anyone. He knows he can beat them all. He just doesn't want to fight anymroe. You can tell by all his recent excursions into non-boxing related territory. He's really just a smart guy and I dont think he cares what people says about him.

Maybe, unlike most boxers, he is retiring with enough money to live a very wealthy rest of his life without taking more risks in the ring.
