  1. You won't necessarily get bigger. I didn't. And I don't think the size will matter too much unless you have unusually large nipples. As long as the baby can put the nipple all the way in their mouth where the gums will be on the areola (it shouldn't hurt if the baby latches on properly). If you want to only pump I think there's nothing wrong with that. It's better than formula right and plenty of babies are fine on that.

  2. As long as your nipples are erect and you are secreting fluids...u can feed...Just be careful that the baby can breath...Fold a wash cloth into 3rds...and place between the babies forehead and your breast..Make sure that the babies nose is not covered..and you should be fine...hope this helps you...take care and good luck..god bless

  3. I'm sure you'll be fine to breastfeed with your size.

I pumped for the first 6 months after my baby was born because she was in the hospital for 17 days and never learned to latch on. Let me tell you, if you can breastfeed then do it!! The first month I had to pump every 2 hours day and night. That means that even if you baby isn't awake, you have to wake up and pump. Then I went down to every 3 hours for a long time, still waking up to pump even when my baby slept. You have to drag you pumping supplies around with you if you go anywhere and make sure that you have a quiet and private place to pump when you need to. Believe me, I wanted my baby to have breastmilk for the whole first year, but after 6 months, I was just getting tired of lugging everything around and not being able to go anywhere without having to pack all that stuff and make sure I had somewhere to do it. If I was just breastfeeding, it would have been SO much easier and I would have done it for the whole year.

So, if you can do it then do it! Good luck!

  4. If I was you I would pick up a breast feeding book, you can get them free at the health department. the only thing you may have problems with is keeping your b***s away from your baby's nose, but I had a lil problem with that and im small busted, so you should be fine

  5. I also have huge b*****s.... and when my baby was born, she was 6 pounds and had the tiniest mouth/face ... and I was able to successfully breastfeed her :-)

  6. The only size problems you may have would have to do with comfortably positioning the baby. But I'm sure you can find a good position if you experiment with different ones. Pumping is so much harder than straight out breastfeeding. And it's really hard to keep a good milk supply established just by pumping alone. Any amount of breast milk you want to give your baby is better than nothing though! Good Luck!

  7. Women with larger b*****s breastfeed just as much as women with smaller b*****s. I'm not sure what you're worried about here... milk production? positioning the baby?

It's much easier to breastfeed straight from the breast than it is to pump. Pumping in a lot of work.

  8. First of all, it doesn't matter what other people think.  If you want to only pump, do so.  I'd say feed your baby directly as it'll save you time.  And no, you're not too big to breastfeed.  Once you're established, your b*****s shouldn't be much bigger than they are now.  All that matters is getting a good latch and that's it!  See a lactation consultant at the first opportunity.  Congrats and good luck!
