I need to find 5 business phones for a great price which is featureline compatible, need something which is easy to transfer calls.

I have already looked at the embark model which retails for around £75 but need to find other options.

Any ideas?

  1. Featureline is actually a standard phone line configured at the exchange to look like an internal PBX. You should be able to use any standard domestic or business telephone with an R (recall) key configured to TBR (timed break recall). This is basically the same as a home phone. Pressing R is used to transfer.

The phones that are sold as featureline phones, mostly just have a load of spped dials set to the featureline codes. You can get the same effect by using any phone with some speed dial buttons and presetting them to the various feature line codes (such as Do Not Disturb = *261#).
