The wireless has gone down but if i plug the ethernet cable in then i can connect. I hear problems like this all the time but the turning off for 20seconds and then on again isn't working for me.

Does anyone know why it isn't working?

  1. Does your wireless router support ADSL for cable connection.  With the name BT wireless guess your router support only copper connections.  If you are with Virgin Media ethernet you will need a router with ADSL support to support fibre cable connections.

  2. Do you have a wireless card receiver on your computer.
