  1. Hi I pay tiscali 19.99 for 24.7 free calls to 01 and 02 No's Line rental. and 8 mg interest. not a bad deal i would say. The package is called Tiscali Max.

  2. go on the net and see what you can find.

try orange or someone like that.

  3. try uswitch.com

you can enter your calling details (time of day you call, national, local calls etc)

They will show the companies that are the cheapest and help you switch over.

  4. I would recommend you to stay with BT. Coz eventually you would end up with BT after having a nightmare with any other provider. BT got many plans to choose from.

None can beat the service or the quality that BT can offer. I have been with both Talk Talk and Sky and finally broke the contract after paying extra and got back to BT.

BT already cut down prices and are in plan to still lower the costs.

  5. The following may be useful to bear in mind:

I know that BT is possibly one of the dearest, but you cannot put a price on service.

If your phone line goes down, and you're with BT, they will respond immediately. You'll often get a call out next day.

A friend of ours switched to Post Office, and when their line went down, BT wouldn't help, and it took 3 weeks for the Post Office to respond.

Also, I am with Orange for my Internet connection. When things go wrong with that you must ring a fault line which connects you to India at 50 pence per minute. When you call that number, the first thing you hear will be that the call may last up to an hour. With BT the faults are dealt with free.

I'm not saying don't hunt around for the best deal, but in this case, just be aware that all the other companies don't have the back-up that BT has, and although you may save a few quid in the short term, that may bite you back in the long run.

    Best of luck ~

  7. Utility warehouse got a deal of just £19.99 a month for linerental, 8 mb internet and free  calls to geographical numbers. They do not spend anything on advertising and they are spot on. They have been featured on which magazine three times in a row for best buy. Unlike tiscali and talk talk they will not tie you into a minimum contract so you can cancel the services if not happy. You can also try their bargain gas and electricity and you will have only one monthly bill to pay and hence one direct debit. Worth a look, www.telecomplus.org.uk/A10928

  8. Have you try VoIP?  For $24.95 a month, it's unlimited nationwide calls and to Canada.

    click on products and services

click on VoIP and check out the plans.

  9. If cheaper calls are what you are looking for you could consider using the internet to make phone calls.  There are a lot of companies that provide these services including Vonage - all you need to use our service is broadband access.  It is really easy to do, and it would cost a lot less than using your landline.

BT users who have broadband access and do not actually want to use the BT phone service do have the option of getting a second line from Vonage.  This would mean that you get very cheap calls, on a separate number to your normal BT one. Charges are made on a flat rate giving unlimited landline calls. Our special rate means for six months you have unlimited anytime calling to landlines in the UK and Ireland for just £5.99.

We are offering a 30 day money back guarantee so feel free to give us a try. You can find more details at http://www.vonage.co.uk

  10. If you have Sky they are the cheapest.
