  1. i got the letter this morning. free weekend calls with no obligation or free weekend & evening calls if you start a new 12 month committment. a quick check of my bills would have told them i don't make calls, i only used BT to get Sky Talk and Sky Broadband.......BIG mistake but that's another story.

  2. Its a typical BT offer, they will give you something that you don't really need in exchange for your signing into a long contract and paying for something else that you DO need.

  3. BT has changed all of their call plans, most of us are slightly better off, only really affects non direct debit paying customers. If you pay DD and opt for paper free billing, you are laughing, if not, you are paying......

  4. the free weekend calls are for everyone on bt together option 1, no contract to sign. the line rental is going up on 1st apr, (not an april fool) by 75p. if you sign up for paperfree billing you will save this. the option 2 offer someone else has mentioned, if you agree to keep it for 12 months, its free. on month 11 they will write to you to advise that if you do not call to cancel out of the offer, it will automatically renew for another 12 months. the standard price for the free evening and weekend calls (opt 2) is also going down by 75p on 1st apr.
