  1. you should give the rabbit enough space to run around and dont make to small if you want you could just let it in go free in your  garden.

  2. i would never do smaller than 4 x 2 feet, and this is in addition to 4 hours playtime outside of the cage each day.  rabbits are very active, if they do not have enough space, they can become depressed and even die.

i personally have two dog exercise pens that are joined together for my two house rabbits.  their pen area is 8 x 4 feet, but they are only in it at night and when we're not home.  they have runtime outside of the pen, 8-12 hours a day.  since i'm a stay-at-home mom, i'm always around.

  3. You can build a nice big cage for quite cheap.  Pet store cages are tiny and don't really give rabbits enough room to move around.  Mine love to stretch out and perch on the top level of the cage.  My cage is like this:

Also, make sure that your rabbit is getting at least 3 hours of out of cage time.  This means time to run around and play in a bunny proofed room where all the cords are hidden.

  4. 24" x 24 "

It may seem like a lot but your bunny should not feel cramped. Make sure to let her out under your supervision about 1 1/2 hours a day or more for her to get some exersize, and time with you. Try and take a look at some of these.
