Newcastle United striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Demba-Ba-c10812 has admitted that he would love to play for Paris Saint Germain in the future, but is currently happy to be at the Sports Direct Arena.
The Senegalese International has been in dazzling form since his move fromWest Ham United in the summer. He fired 16 goals for the Magpies in his first 29 games, and has played a pivotal role in his team’s Premier League upswing in the first half of the
season.
He was named the best signing of the season in March, after a majority of the Premier League managers voted in his favour.
His splendid stats in the league this season have not gone unnoticed, and the player has reportedly drawn interest from some of the top clubs in Europe. He was earlier linked to a possible move to the Stamford Bridge, with PSG also believed to be keeping
close tabs on the player.
The 26 year revealed that he was having a great time at Tyneside, but would like to play for the French League 1 giants in the future.
“It's always a dream for me to play one day at PSG,” Ba told reporters.
"I always loved PSG. I saw them beat Marseille at (Newcastle team-mate) Yohan Cabaye’s place recently.”
“But I'm really happy where I am in Newcastle. The English league suits me perfectly.”
Ba has been short of goals lately, after the Newcastle manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Pardew moved his playing position. He has failed to get on the score sheet in his last eleven matches, in all competitions. His last goal for the club came against Aston Villa in a 2-1 win,
on the 5th of February.
The club’s January signing, Papiss Cisse has now been assigned the role of being the main striker and he has responded in an emphatic manner, scoring 10 goals in 9 appearances for the club so far.
However, Ba mentioned that he is willing to continue with his new role in the side, and was glad to see his compatriot do well up-front.
He added: “The coach told me he would put me on the left and for the team I thought, ‘Let’s do it’.”
“I know the qualities of Papiss as a finisher. It does not bother me at all.  If I score, that’s great, but if I don’t score there is someone else who does."
