My periods are usually great. I never get cramps or mood swings or nauseaous. This month, not so much. I've been getting very very very nauseaous and have puked once. I also have cramps to the point where it is crippling pain. All I can do is lay in bed all day and I hate it. Can someone tell me why its so bad all of a sudden and how i can get rid of them?

  1. Using  aheating pad in the fetal position helps, and once you get them under control a brisk walk helps, unless there is something else going on , if it continues i suggest you see your doctor

  2. Hey your not the only one so don't feel bad. I have a friend that pukes to so. I normally just relax and take it easy but it sounds like you don't like to do that so try

    taking a bath

    exercise

    or heating

  3. I get cramps really bad. What helps mine is avoiding dairy products and food high in fiber such as salads. I know both of these is essential to health, but I cut back on them for the first 1 to 3 days of my period then add them back into my diet. Also motrin or Midol helps a lot. Don't use blood thinner pain medicine such as aspirin. Taking a hot shower will relax you too along with using a hot pack on your stomach. If someone is around, get them to massage the area. That helps too!

  4. Midol might help...a lot of girls start developing cramps or harsh and heavy periods later on so its not unheard of to all of a sudden get bad cramps and nausa...goodluck with that

  5. Take 3 Aleve and yes sometimes curling in a ball will help. Also lay a heating pad on your stomach where the cramps are the worst and that will help as well.. BEEN there and done that. Mine used to be sooooo bad.

  6. A woman's body goes through so many changes that even stress can do a tremendous effect on our hormones.  Just drink a lot of natural fruit juices and water, if the pain gets unbearable, take Midol. Get lots of rest...you will be fine.

Why lots of fluids? Fluids makes you urinate a lot and then the more you urinate, the more you release the pressure...I hope you feel better.

  7. You may have to talk to a doctor about why there is a sudden onset of extreme pain but to get rid of cramps i have a few tips. Try: taking Midol Tylenol or some pain killer, eat a banana or chocolate, take a hot bath, lay down with a heating pad, exercise.  I hope one of those works for you! Feel Better!
