Baathu is a green leafy vegetable like cilantro. It is eaten raw or cooked. It is very common in India. It has a lot of nutrients and is very healthy to eat. I want to know what you call it in English so that I can buy it at a grocery store.

  1. I buy it here in Canada in my Indian market, but in areas not having a place with a large selection of Indian goods, then a bunch of watercress and cilantro are a good alternative, the watercress is slightly sour and peppery and the cilantro will inpart the flavour, even a bit of dried Methli is a good addition

  2. White goose foot or fat hen!

  3. you might want to try spinach. It is served both cooked and raw and is very healthy, affordable and delicious. Plus you can get it at any store and there are literally millions of recipes out there for cooking with it.
