Babies nick names????

ok here it goes my daughters is 6 weeks old nick name is Cathryn but u say just like kathrine right so i want to give her a nice name my hubbi calls her lady cathryn ...wha r ur suggestions ..???

Don't jump on the "nick name bandwagon" too quickly!  

Call the child by her name, or whatever endearment pops up.

If your husband calls her "Lady Cathryn" it might evolve into just "Lady."

How about "Cathy," or "Kate," or "Katie?"

My daughter Katie is nicknamed "DeeDee."  My son Michael is nicknamed "Pip."  

Nicknames just evolve!

What about the middle name? For example if it starts with J, a nickname could be CJ.

Also what about her personality? What does she like? When I was little I used to think I was a fairy and I'd walk around on my toes acting like a fairy. So my parents started to call me Tinkerbell.
