Babies swim?

i saw on the tv that baby swim naturally is that true?

No, babies cannot swim naturally - they die.  More babies die that way every year than from guns.

ya thats pretty true my neighbor fell into my pool and thats how he learned to swim

they have the instinct to close their moths and hold their breath.  They usually pick up the arm and leg motion really fast, they just don't know how to come up for air.  People are trying to find out if this because babies live in liquid in the mommas belly or if we learned this way back when we were little oozey creatures.
