If I trim a few fuzzy strands away from my son's face, is this still considered his first haircut?

  1. No honey. When my first born got his first haircut we took him to the barber that my husband used when he was little. We took pictures and celebrated that he was becoming a "big boy!" I cried and so did my sweet son. But I just looked at the pictures the other day and it was so sweet to have that memory.

  2. Not to me!

The first hair cut is really just the 'event' itself.

It's the sitting in a cute chair, having a wrap around you, having a professional cutting their hair.

It's the fun of having the lock of hair tied with a ribbon and placed in a keepsake bag.

Necessary trimming doesn't count (shhhhh, it never happened).

  3. yes  ^ _ ^

  4. Not really. The first haircut refers to the first time you take him to have his haircut. You'll want to take pictures and save a lock of his hair then.
