  1. I'm assuming it's just like any other baby that has hair in weird places.  My daughter has a very hairy back.  My mom said some hair may pop up here and there... but will eventually fall out.  it's nothing to worry about.  he won't hit puberty until like 11 or so!!  lol  good luck :)

  2. This sounds like hormones that are lingering in the baby's system and they should start shutting down - and the hair falling out.  If it's still present - and bothering you - in a few months, talk with your doctor.  They may want to check the baby's thyroid and adrenal functions as that can cause some unusual hair growth for children.  This typically doesn't require action (or cause for alarm), it's just one of the many things to watch over time.  Good luck!

  3. I'm sure its normal, whenmy son was about that age he had a little patch of peach fuzz hair about his bumm (just like his daddy) haha he's 15mths. now and its gone. I'm sure your little guy is fine it will prob. go away in a few weeks

  4. My 20 month old grand daughter also has peach fuzz...but then again so did I when I was a baby....don't worry some people are just harrier than others.

  5. Not exactly normal, but it is common. He could just be a little hairier than most, or he could be having a hormone problem. That, of course, can be easily fixed.

If you are worried, then give the doctor a call. Or wait until his 6 month check-up. Either way, I would just mention to the doctor.

  6. I'd say it's not uncommon. My son has a patch of hair right above his butt.  It's been there since birth, but has gotten lighter. I've never asked the doctor, but I'm sure it will fall out with time.
