Question:

Baby Bath Seats and Rings?

My 6.5 month old son is too tall for his bath tub - I think he's ready to sit in the adult tub with support. (he can sit up but still falls over often) I'm looking into getting a bath seat or ring such as http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7977227

I'd like to find one with toys built in it -- what kind of bath seat/ring did you use on your baby?? How did it work out?

  1. My son uses this tub... http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/602...

And I put floaty toys in it.  He LOVES his bathtub!

  2. That's the same one I used for my son.  It worked really well for a good amount of time until he was big enough to sit in the tub on his own. There aren't toys built in but having little rubber duckies or something floating around the tub was always easy for him to play with anyway.  It's inexpensive and it works!  GoodLuck

  3. Well, I didnt make bath time "play time".  I simply laid the baby in the adult tub with little water.  The pediatrician said this way helped keep his ears clean.  Now that he is older and can sit without support, he sits in it as I clean him.

  4. I recommend something called "Daphne"

Not fancy the way you want it, but very effective - and - you can have the rings etc. added.

  5. this one is almost the same as the one we use and its great!   http://www.lullabyebaby.com/juvenile_sol...

he can lean over and reach toys that are floating or play with the rings that are attached to the model we have. we also stick toys to side of bath and he reaches out to them.

  6. I used a bath ring/seat for my daughter when she was younger and it was wonderful. It gave her the freedom to play and enabled her to stay in the bath longer than I could hold her. We used it until she was about 13 months when she refused to sit in it any more.
