I had unprotected s*x a week ago, last Tuesday, the last day of my ovulation. On Saturday, my stomach felt really tight and my b***s became swollen. Now the tightness has moved below my belly button and I'm not supposed to start my period until the 30th. The feeling in my stomach is almost like I've done too many situps. If implantation starts the day after ovulation...is it too early to be experiencing these symptoms...it would be 4 dpo? Thanks and baby dust!!!!!!

  1. Well I think it can happen because it happened to me this past month.

I am pregnant now and 1 1/2 weeks ago I had the same feelings you are having. I felt like I had just done like 100 sit ups and I was exhausted. My b***s were sore and swollen. I'm not sure when exactly implantation occured for me but I do know that I had the same symptoms and ended up being 5 weeks pregnant. I also know that the last day that I ovulated was Sunday the 3rd and it was early that next week that I had the beginnings of the situp feelings.

Hope this helps and good luck!

  2. Are you sure that you were not just ovulating on Saturday. You said that your period is due on the 30th and so is mine and I ovulated on Saturday the 16th. Ovulation occurs pretty close to 14 days before your NEXT expected period. It isnt just on CD14 like many women think. Also implantation does not occur for at least a week and most likely longer after ovulation. While I hope the best for you, I think your mind may be playing tricks on you like mine always does. For example the week after I ovulate I always start getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, and after ovulation is the only time I do this. I have yet to conceive (currently in yet another tww) so I know that the trips to the bathroom are just my head messing with me. Like I said I really do hope that you are pregnant, but just dont get too excited too soon over what you are wondering might be "symptoms" Baby Dust to you and all TTC.

  3. implantation takes around 6-12 days

you may get cramping and light bleeding during this time

  4. Firstly implantation will not take place the day after ovulation. It takes approximately 7-11 days after ovulation for implantation to occur so more than likely your mind is playing tricks with you.
