Baby FOOD in suitcase?

can you take jars of baby food in your suitcase with out them having to take it out to inspect it?

  1. why would you care if there inspecting it. are you hididng something in there??


  2. I don't know about airport rules, but it seems to me that packing jars of baby food in your suitcase would be a really bad idea, because the glass might break or the plastic may explode at high altitudes. You could be looking at a serious mess.

    If you decide to go ahead with it, I say they will probably not open the actual jar of food if it is a regular container of clearly marked food. But why can't you just buy the food when you get where you're going?

  3. some of mine wasnt inspected, but had to be declared, id say they will check anyway so put it all in the same bag ready.  

  4. You can take baby food with you, but they have a right to inspect any and all your carry-on luggage. Same goes with checked luggage. So unless you are hiding something, you sould be glad they check luggage.
