  1. Well, How many are you talking about?

A 10 gallon tank should be fine and you can separate the Guppies between the two tanks.

If the problem is out of control try considering a 20 gallon tank.

    I wish you the best.

  2. Quit putting them in the breeding trap.  I never remove the fry from the tank and the parents take care of population control themselves.

  3. Guppies will multiply to fill whatever size tank you buy.

But bigger is better, as you will be able to grow the fry to a reasonable size and it's much easier to sell them when the males are fully coloured and the females are big and healthy.

When I was breeding guppies I had 2 x 20gal tanks to rear fry.

  4. i raising some guppy fry right now.they live good on like a 10 gallon tank.if there are alot use a 20 gallon tank.and your correct guppies have alot of babies.by the way fry means babies.if you want less fry get platies the have only like 5 fry a month.

  5. I use to raise guppies when I was younger, and yes they multiply like crazy! The "fry" can only stay a few days in the breeding trap. After they are born, you should really move them to a 5 gallon tank so that they can grow larger. Once they are big enough to not get eaten by larger fish, you can put them back in with the adults.
