Baby Hamster size?

Question

Help! my hamsters are belle teddy and chip. chip is a male and we though teddy was too, until we took them to get checked and belle and teddy were female! belle and teddy both had babies on the same day and there is twelve. (teddy 1 of the moms) is bigger than belle and smaller then chip and belle is very small (but not too young and 1 of the moms) and chip is bigger. belle and teddy were in the same cage together whenthey had babies. and they mix them up, but treat them like there own. but my question is this since my hammy babies are 6 days old i thought they'd all be they same size but some are normal, one is huge (almost the size of belle at five days!) and one is really tiny( the size of a finger nail!) is this normal.??!

It is very normal for pups to be of different sizes, so you do not need to worry about this.

they probably just got differant jeans from their parents.  MAybe some of them were born prematurly... make sure you get the male out of the cage... he will attack the babies..

If it is a Dwarf Hamster Then it is only normal for the runt since there is only one of that size like you said, then it is normal.
