Baby Lock Espire Walking Foot

Question

I have a new walking foot for my Baby Lock Espire. I have attached it correctly but the stitches look terrible on top and bottom. I have tried going into "stitch adjustment" and moving the #s up and down altho I don't really know what each one means. Can someone please provide the #s I need to make stitches neat on top and bottom? I appreciate any [e-mail]
