Baby Names...Tell me what you think

Question

I'm not planning on having a baby any time soon, I actually have a three month old at home now... BUT, my hubby and I were talking about names for future kids and tell me what you think of them, pleeease. Don't be mean! Just honest.

My favorite uncle has the name Emery, so we would name the boy... Emery Alexander and for a girl... Ava Grace.

I love the name Emery. Emery Alexander flows very well. My Great Grandmother's maiden name was Emerson and I wanted to name our son Emery or Emerson. Sigh, but husband said no to that. :( I do not like Ava Grace though.

No offence, but Emery does sound a little girly... Alexander is fine though.

Great names! Both gorgeous...I  am afraid that that Ava Grace is very common though. It is just one of those beautiful name that EVERYBODY loves!

Emery is more of a last name and Alexander is more of a first name! who names their kids emery? and ava? i don't even get that? seriously, what ever happened to American names! s***w these stupid foreign names!!!

I think they are both cute.  But Ava is becoming pretty popular (in my area anyway) so you might want to keep that in mind.

Sorry, but i do not like either one of them. First Emery sounds more like a girls name to me. And Ava... Eva maybe, and Grace :S

i love both these names, casual, normal, sporty, exciting............ these names will suit any personalety.  plus these names are good baby names, kid names, teen names, adult names............AKA these names will not sound weird any time in there life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow i love the names you have in mind. And there not common names but there not to exotic or chavy.

I love the name Eva and Tulullah is nice. I also like Grace or Deonne.

And for boys Joseph, Perry, Jasper or Corey.

But those are just ideas....

They are both nice names but I know about 6 babies named Ava that were born in the last 2 years. It's a really nice name but It's quite common. It was the 5th most common name for 2007. If you really love it i say go for it but maybe you should try to think of something less common

I think Emery Alexander is going to be a tough one on the playground.

Ava Grace is a cool name.

Personally when i grow up, i have this really BIG feeling that i am going to be different, famous or something(im not bragging, i just have this feeling i will). So, when i am famous, my kids have to have kool names. I like the names Esperanza and Coco for a girl name. And i adore Ozzy for a boy name!

I personally don't like Emery Alexander, but it's ur choice. I don't like 'Ava either, but mabye Eva. nice name. Grace is beatiful!

I don't know any Emery's but I think it sounds very handsome and I love Alexander for a middle name.

i loveee the name grace! and ava grace sounds pretty. but i think emery alexander should be Alexander Emery.
