Baby Quails!?

Question

My sister and I had found 9 baby quails being prepared for as a meal for the ants when my sister and i rescued them, well some of them... the mother was nowhere in site and they were in a bush with crawling ants all over. I suspect the mother is dead so we have to take care of them. Plz we need to know what to feed them how to treat them and what temprature of heat should they be in and more! plz provide information if u can.

You will need to put them in a LARGE HIGH box with old towels at the bottom.

You will need a heat lamp hanging down towards one corner of the box a foot about the towels.

You need to go to your local feed store/tractor supplies store, and buy a Waterer to put water in. If you just put a bowl of water in their they will get in it and drown.

You will also need to get at the feed store some Unmedicated Chich Starter Feed.

you can just place a handful of it in with them.

After you have done all of that you should just leave them alone for a while, so they can rest.
