  1. hey, my rabbits just had babies.

please email me and i can tell you what to do.. my email address is sour_sweet_hater@yahoo.com

and they only feed them once or twice a day!

please email me if you really want help

  2. When the mom isn't around take the babies to the vet...but I wouldn't try putting them back because the mom's scent will be gone.

  3. if the mother abandoned them they have something wrong with them. they wont live. i lived on a farm and i know there is nothing that you can do for them. and are you sure she is not around? how close are you getting?sounds close if you know 1 is bleeding from the nose.if a human gets to close to them the mother could abandon as well

  4. So, you are asking what to do? Or just telling a sad story with no question? Well i have some ideas...  1. someone could have scared her off  2. you could go check more often to see if she comes back  3. check and see if the babies are eating  4. dont take it to the vet, it will just be ditched if the mother never really left  5. just leave it alone and dont worry, its nature let it work its own way  6. do what you think is best, just dont tell your self to do something rashtional to it like torture it or anything... that would be bad...  7. if you do need to take it to the vet, wait till it has open eyes,  then im sure it can eat some solid food and it might live without its mom... :D

  5. Rabbit's don't always show their "natural instincts" when it comes to nursing their young. You should feed them by hand. Although, you may have just not seen her nurse. Please spay your rabbit so this doesn't happen again. It's not as easy and natural as people think! Many of the babies die within a week.

Please get some help quick! It may be too late to be looking up rabbit husbandry now!

  6. i have a mom rabbit and 2 baby rabbits in my backyard too. my mom told my brother sisters and me to leave them alone, but when we knew the mother wasn't there we would look, but not touch them. if you have the time you should see when the mom comes around and see if she brings food for them. the babies are most likely fine, i don't think the mom would leave if one was hurt. and if your really worried you should  call your local wildlife place first and ask what you should do. if they say you should move them, then take them to a vet, but be careful if your going in your backyard because the mom may lose it not being able to find her babies. and if you do move them don't put them back b/c the mom will then most likely not feed them then.
