Question:

Baby Ribbon Snake Diet?

Crickets seem a little too large for it at the moment, so I am not quite sure what to feed a tiny ribbon snake baby. It is about six centimeters in length.

These snakes are natural to my neighborhood.

  1. Skip the insects as they are of no nutritional value to the snake plus they are very hard for the snake to digest. These snakes will happily eat earthworms, slugs, small fish/minnows, salamanders, tadpoles. The earthworms are your best bet and are a complete, nutritionally balanced meal plus they are easy to get in the yard or any fish bait shop.
