  1. Go to.........We had tons of fun with the timer one and the q & a one.

  2. Safety pins && bowl of rice....see how many safety pins they can get with in a minute with their heads turned away.

Baby Jumble......write a bunch of baby items mixed up for an example bottle.... etltbo. the one that has the most items guessed correctly in a minute wins

put a bunch of baby items in a basket  and take away the basket && have your guests write all the items down on a paper in a minute the one that has the most items written down wins

Clothes pin game.....give every guest a clothes pin and attach it to the guest and if anyone catches anyone  saying BABY, THE MOTHERS NAME OR THE BABY'S NAME during the whole game they can take that persons clothes pin, until the shower is over and  who ever has the most pins wins

    Melt the Ice

The day before the shower, freeze diaper pins, miniature pacifiers, tiny plastic babies, or similar items in ice cube trays. Give each guest an ice cube in a glass of water or other drink. The first person whose ice has melted so that the frozen item floats freely in the glass shouts, "My water broke!" and wins the game

    Dress the Baby

Get a life-size baby doll, receiving blanket, cloth diaper, diaper wrap, and bodysuit. Guests take turns trying to either dress or swaddle the baby. Time each guest — the one who does it fastest wins.

enjoy these ideas hope i helped you

  3. my shower is saturday and these are the games we are playing:dont say baby(using ribbon and little pink pacifiers as necklaces instead of safety pins or clothes pins),guess how many(baby bottle filled with candy),guess the baby food(we arent tasting it they have to guess it by looking at the jar so we can still use the food for the baby),guess the white stuff(4 or 5 little baggies with different white stuff ex:flour, baby powder, powdered sugar,etc...)and we are having a diaper raffle that way we get stocked up on diapers for awhile and someone wins a nice gift basket we are putting together hope these help!

  4. GAMES/ACTIVITIES

    -----------

    Baby Shower Bodysuit Decorating

Bodysuits are one thing the new parents will need lots of!! A great activity is to have guests at the baby shower decorate bodysuits!! Purchase enough bodysuits and fabric paint for each guest attending and set up the "creation station" in a location that will not be needed during the rest of the shower!! (This will allow the bodysuits to dry without them having to be moved.) When the shower is over...offer to wash the custom bodysuits for the new parents, making sure to follow the directions on the fabric paint bottles. For large baby showers....purchase a wide range of sizes so these creations will be a part of baby's first full year!

Suggestion: Cover the table being used with a plastic drop cloth covered with an old tablecloth that is no longer needed (the one with gravy stains on it from last Thanksgiving??). 5 Tubes of 1.25oz Colored Fabric Paint should be enough to decorate 10 Bodysuits (when used sparringly).

    Letters to The Baby

As the guests walk to the table where the gifts are being placed.....have a special station set up on the side of the gift table. At this station have cute baby themed stationary laid out with some nice pens. Beside the stationary have a card out asking each guest to take a few moments to write a note to the new baby. When the guests have finished writing their notes, have a tray or basket provided to place them in. Once all the guests have written their notes....the hostess can then choose one or two, at random, to be chosen for a prize (this could be your shower's door prize). When the shower is over these notes can be placed in a scrapbook or album to be enjoyed by the parents now and by the baby years down the road. Sweet and sentimental and sure to be treasured by the new family!!!

    ________

Find songs that are about babies or have the word "baby" in them. Play the first five seconds or so of each song and have your guests guess the song.

  5. One of the games that I had was baby food tasting. See if the women could guess what type of baby food it was by tasting it. Another game is  bottle sucking, see who could drink the juice out of the bottle the first. Then another one is anyone that want to play, give them a safety pin, and if ANYONE catches ANYONE saying BABY during the whole game they can take that persons safety pin, until you call the game off, who ever has the most pins wins, and then there is one more, word scramble, pick out at least 15 words that has to do with a baby, and who ever unscrambles the most wins.....  I have more, but I think this is enough writing for me. Let me know if you do not understand...

  6. These are games I have played at baby showers

Get a bowl fill it with rice and add a few safety pins. have guests use one hand to find as many pins as they can. time them

Pass out paper plates. Have everyone at once put plate on top of there head and draw a baby. time them. have prego decide which one is the best

Gerber food tasting. buy different Gerber baby food have guest guess which is which. guest that has most answers right wins

put diaper on baby and dress baby. time guests

melt a chocolate bar in a diaper. do this for a few chocolate bars. have guest figure out which ones they are. guest that have the most answers right wins

pass out string and have guest guess the length around prego's belly. guest with closest estimation wins

Get a clothes line or string and hang a lot of clothes pins. have guest grab as many as they can with one hand. time them

Give guests a baby onesie and pass out markers. Have them draw and design on the onesie for the new baby. Have prego pick the best drawing

Give marshmellow to guest and have them put it in their mouth. once marshmellow is in their mouth have them say baby bon bon. give them another marshmellow, have them put it in their mouth & again have them say baby bon bon. continue this until they are no longer able to say baby bon bon. The one with the most marshmellows & who is able to say baby bon bon is the winner. (this is the game that gets the most laughs

Also, this isn't a game but it was something sweet they did. Give a card to every guest and have them write advice for the new parents or if the guest does not have kids have them write a congratulatory note or something

  7. baby bingo- bingo with baby items instead & where the "free spot" is.. a stork =)

guess that smell- get like 7 diapers, and put different kinds of baby food IN the diaper, leave the diaper open & have the guests guess what type of food is in the diaper (by the smell), whoever gets the most right wins!

word scramble- type up a word scramble, and have the guests unscramble them. Like "paride = diaper" etc.. change it up & time it, give them 2 to 3 minutes.

color tray- many people walk around a tray & have the guests write down everything they can remember on the tray. My mom chose to walk the tray around.. and everyone was trying to remember WHAT was on the tray, and then my mom announced that they needed to remember the color of the items & she already had all the items listed. This totally threw everyone off. =) Each item on the tray must be different colors.

drink a bottle- fill a bunch of cheap baby bottles with lemonade and have the guests drink fast! Whoever can drink the fastest wins!

word search- a word search with baby items to find, you can change it up by timing it & see who can find the most words in 2 to 3 minutes.

string length- take a piece of yarn and cut it at how far you think the pregnant womans belly is... then at the end, measure the strings around the belly of the preggo & see who's closest.

guess the specs- my mom made up a sheet where the guests had to guess the weight of the unborn baby, the length of the unborn baby, the date the baby would actually be boren, the time the baby would actually be born, and then gender. At the bottom of the sheet, they filled out their name & address. After my son came, we went through & decided on who was the closest on the different specs and sent out gift cards to the winners!

advice book- my mom sent a little book around for people to write advice to me. They just wrote little sayings, the most valuable information they learned from being a mom. I loved to read this, and still do.

    good luck & have fun~

  8. I always liked the one where you put the different baby foods(the gerber stage 2) in the diapers and have guests smell the diapers and see if they can identify the foods. The diapers look like poopy diapers and the game is really silly and fun. Everyone loved it at my shower.
