Baby Shower Question .. ur opinion plz ..?

for the people who throw you a baby shower and bring you baby shower gifts, how do you pay them back ? i mean .. are "Thank you" Notes enough?

Yes, Thank-You's are enough! They don't (well shouldn't) expect any gifts in return. This shower is usually thrown by close friends and family anyway!

Assuming the shower was after the baby was born, what you could do is get professional pictures of the baby, and for the people who threw you the shower hand-write a thank you card and include a picture of the baby in the card!

thank you cards ..same as a wedding when people get you things. you send thank you cards..dont make them all the same tho

A thank you would be enough. I would recommend sending a picture of the baby on a hand-made thank you. It is more personal and something they would keep. It is easier for someone to throw away a store bought card than a picture of a cute baby. Best Wishes!!!

I am about to have my baby shower and My Sister in Law is hosting it. I went to one of those chinese dollar stores and they had these beautiful little baby figurines so I got some of them, also I got printed ribbon to tie around them, the ribbon reads Thanks for coming to my baby shower, the date and my husband and my names (if you know what you are having and you chose a name, might as well use it in the ribbon). It is something little and silly but it will work as a souvenir and you can also send thank you notes after.

I think that's up to you If my mom threw me a baby shower I would prolly do something for her. If it was aunts and cousins and mom then I would do a picture of the baby and a thank you. I don't think that there is a right or wrong way. I also believe that if they wanted to throw you a shower then they love you and don't need anything in return.

You can repay them how you like. I am sending Thank You cards and that's it. I think that is suitable enough. People don't expect to receive things back in return.

Thank you cards are great. Everyone seems to love them. I was also thinking of giving little party gifts of some sort. Still havent figured out what to give though. Good Luck!

yes thank you notes are fine...  ppl throw showers to help you get prepared for your new baby, because they love you and want to help... they don't usually expect anything in return, except a Thank You... Good Luck!! and CONGRATS!!!
