Baby Shower food ideas

Question

I would like a variety of food. I can figure what to get for the snacks and drinks but for the main dish I just don't know!

Please help! I am doing half/half with the hostess.

Anything plus baby back ribs. For the humor.

Get like veggies with dip or lime.....for the other preggo girls and the celebrated one.....make sure to have Orange juice.....some type of carb....like crackers or bread....lots of water.....main dish??  PIZZA!!! or PASTA.....everyone loves Italian ;-).......or Order Chinese.......most preggos crave cheese or nacho cheese....(because the baby takes up ur calcium so its  a way of your body asking for more...thru cravings)..

SO ALL IN ALL......Have some type of treat....or junk food...lots of water and juice...fruits and crackers....

At my baby shower we just had alot of finger foods

This was our menu

Roast beef roll-ups [roast beef, cream cheese, co jack cheese, spinach rolled up in a tortilla cut into little finger food pieces]

Chips and dip

Cheese and Crackers

Strawberries and Grapes w/ a marshmellow/cream cheese fruit dip

Cheese cubes, sweet pickes, and ham on a toothpick [my favorite!]

And rice krispy ratalls.....rolls rice krispys into balls, stick a popsicle stick inside them and dip them in pink or blue sugar..

For drinks we had a variety of 2 liter drinks...and  a pinapple/coconut cream punch...very good

My cousin did this:

- garlic bread, chicken Alfredo/fettuccine, salad (with dressings), punch/coke/water/sprite/etc.

For a great healthy dessert you could make fruit skewers and drizzle a little chocolate over the top. Delicious
