Question:

Baby Swim Diapers............?

Do they make disposable swim diapers for small babies? My daughter is 4 months old and 10.5 lbs. Huggies and Pampers swim diapers only have larger sizes, with the smallest being 3/4 (16-25 lbs). Does anyone know of any companies that make them for smaller babies? At this point I'm only interested in disposable ones. I have a couple cloth ones that my son used and if I have to, I'll use them for my daughter, too (even though she's a girl!), but I thought if I could find some disposable ones, that would work, too.

  1. i don't think they come any smaller than size 3/4. My suggestion is to just put little shorts or swimsuit bottoms on her to help keep the swimmers on her!

  2. hmm. i don't know, but i am sure the bigger ones will stay on her under a swimsuit.

  3. had this problem too...

buy some and try them on.

they truely are alot smaller than they look. leg holes get tight and then hard to get off when soaked sometimes.

what i did when my girlie was little tiny was took tape (small pieces of duct tape worked good.) and folded the edges a bit (diaper on)... taped them so they were snug where i needed it.

then put a baithing suit over it. NO ONE WILL KNOW.. shhh! :)

    good luck!

  4. i doubled the huggies good luck

  5. i was shopping for some swim diapers for my 3 month old (who will be 5 months by the time he needs them) and the smallest size that i saw at target was 18-24 lbs or something like that.  luckily for me my son is a giant and is already 15 lbs, so I'm sure he'll be 18 by the time he'll be wearing.  they may make them for under 18 lbs and just not sell them at target.  i would look on huggies.com or something like that.  haha.

  6. If she is wearing a swim suit or something over them, they will most likely fit her. I bought some for my son who is 16 lbs which they were sized for 16 to 24 pounds and it was hard to get them on and off of him because they were very tight. If you look on coupons.com, I think that is it, I just google searched online diaper coupons, there is a 2 dollar off coupon for them that you can print off. If you can't find it, let me know and I could mail you that I have or even email it too you.

  7. I believe that's the smallest size. I had the same problem with my son but I put the size smalls on him and it was fine. I put a bathing suit over it and it helped a little more.
