  1. ive heard ball pythons not eating up to 6 months

  2. give it more time ball pythons are finecky eaters it is probably still getting to know it's enclosure also make sure the temps n humidity are right

temp 75-85 cool side 85-95 basking side this will be a comfortable setting for the bp

humidity should be 60-80% mist the enclosure daily with a water bottle this will help with shed cycles as well as keeping this n the temp nsync should keep it from getting stressed also make sure you povide a hide on the cool and basking side and fresh water daily i'm sure you did your research but incase you didn't get any of this stuff while researching these are the little big things that can make or break a reptile owner

  3. One thing you can try is thumping the mouse on the head to knock it out. Then hold it by the tail in front of your snakes nose and gentle touch the snakes nose with the mouse.

  4. Hi Mike,

It's nothing to really worry about. Ball pythons are very picky eaters so they won't eat for a while. The same thing happen to my baby ball python(3 months) and he won't eat at all for about 3-4 months. Also ball pythons are very "picky" when it comes to their home or tank. If there is a rock or lamp or shelter that they don't like, then they will also refuse to eat. So maybe try to remove everything out of the cage. At least that's what I did with mine and after the second week of the 3rd or 4th month he ate but then I put in the rock and he refuse to eat again. Temperature is also a big factor too. Make sure the tempt. in the room range from 80-90 degrees. Ball pythons are use to warm to hot climate so when it gets colder, they won't eat. Aside from all that, there is no need to worry, ball pythons can go up to a year without eating and maybe for babies possibly 6 months. If you're really worry, you could always try force feeding after 4-5 months. Though it isn't recommended because you could hurt them.

But don't stress out about it. The same thing happen to all my ball pythons for many different reasons. If you need anything, just email me! I'll be glad to help you out!

    Hope I could help!
