you can get much information in this website, If you will check anyone blue link in website.

  2. If the baby bird is not feathered you must first keep it warm by making a makeshift nest out of coolwhip bowl with tissues in it. Place the baby in nest and place nest in box in case it falls out as they often do. Then put a heating pad set on low under box. To feed you need to get some handfeeding formula from pet store(Kaytee puts out good one). Mix it up and handfeed every 30 mins from dawn to dusk. Birds do not eat at night. Can feed it with 1cc syringe or end of a popsicle stick. If can not get this food can feed cat or dog food that has been soaked in water then dab excess water off and cut into tiny little pieces or mush to applesauce texture and feed that along with some chopped up mealworms at petstore. Now if the baby is feathered and you found it oustide and it can flop and flap but not fly you need to put it back where you found it if it is not hurt. This would be a fledgling bird and it is normal for the bird to live on ground for days before it can fly. The parent birds respond to its call and it to theirs. They will go wherever it is to feed it. It survives by hiding in tall grass and bushes until it can fly. They will still take care of it even though you have touched it. If this is not a option then a fully feathered baby still needs some warmth not as much can put pad under half box. Feed every 30/45 mins. Can offer shallow cap of water and small cap of seed and mealworms. Keep in mind it is illeagal to posess wildlife without a license or permit. the best chance this baby has of living is for you to return it to parents if possible or take it to a wildlife rehabber in your area or a vet that accepts wildlife. This is free for both. They will raise it and then release it when ready. Baby birds are very hard to care for and their survival rate in captivity is low. Need lots of special and demanding care. Good luck and thanks for caring about this little critter. :) Oh and if this is a non feathered baby do not give water as they can choke to death very fast.

  3. If the bird is fully feathered, it is most likely a fledgling and has left the nest on it's own and it's parents are caring for it. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly.   You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it.  If it is unfeathered...then look for a nest and if you can find it...replace it into the nest.  Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched.  If you cannot find a nest, get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it's best chance of survival.  Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own.  Look for a rehab here:
