Baby book question about news headlines?

Okay, my mom's job during the delivery was to get a newspaper the day I had my daughter but the machine took her money. How can I find out what the news headlines were for May 8th??? I've searched online with no luck. Thanks.

have ya called the newspaper to see if they can provide a back issue for a price? local libraries sometimes maintain a file of newspapers. put an ad in the paper. there's gotta be one out there somewhere. by the way, congratulations.

the library WILL have it on microfiche, or on the computer , you can probably even make a copy of it.

It would help if you would give the year your daughter was  born..unless you meant May 8th of this year..every day there are events happening.. :)

But if you mean may 8th of this year...

just go to goggle and type in "news headlines for may 8, 2008 " the link below is what i found..

Or type in may 8,2008 by itself or may 8,2008 entertainment news and so on and see what you can find
