Baby bump measurement....whats your?

Question

I'm 16 weeks and my stomach measured 39 inches from belly button around..

I thought it would be fun to ask what it everybody measurements and what week they are.....thanks

At 35 weeks I was 52 inches around (huge). I don't know what i am now but i do know this kid needs to come visit the outside. I am 3 days past my EDD

I'm 26 weeks and the doctor told me on wednesday that i am 27 inches. I think i'll have a small baby boy on Nov 25-29,2008

Well I am 22 weeks and I have not measured myself yet, so I have no idea lol! :)

they measure your bump from your pubic bone to the top of the fundus to give a bump measurement not the circumference. Mine is a little over the 23 weeks that I am

I believe it's fun to measure the circumference, but not accurate at all.  I had been 31" since week 16 and now, at week 26, I'm still 31" in circumference.  However, I noticed that my belly is filling up, that's why doctors measure the baby from the pubic bone to the fundus, not the circumference.

I do believe my belly was larger (in circumference) when I was carrying my daughter, but I think that is due to my huge appetite... therefore, I was carrying more fat back then.  I've gained less weight this time (about 20 lbs at this stage), while I think it was 30 lbs in my last pregnancy (at about the same weeks gestation).

Also, I think it's more meaningful to include the circumference at the narrowest part of one's body in order to see how huge one's belly is.  For example, I'm 23 inches (below my b*****s), so I guess a 31" belly (circumference) is considered large at 16 to 26 weeks.
