Baby comfort blanket blankie?

Question

Does your baby have one or did you have one?

Is it all raggedy and sometimes smelly?

haha, i'm asking because I know alot of babies have one and are not too happy to leave it to be washed.

Apparantly I used to have one. I don't remember being too attached, I remember sniffing it alot when I was upset.

This is simply a discussion topic. I thought it would be fun.

My daughter (3 1/2) has one.  I bought 2 of them to have a back up but she is partial to only one.  The other looks almost brand new and she says that one is mine.  She is ok about washing it now, before it was drama.

My stepson had one for years too, it was a knitted type so it was pretty stringy at the end.

I had one and still have it, there is only side of it that looks good the other side is all torn and ratty looking but it doesnt smell because its been washed, But i dont use its in a box in my closest. my daughter has two she is very protective of them both over all if i am quick enough when she gets up from nap i can usally wash them and then she gets all excited when i give them back from the dryer because they are all clean and warm .

hahah my ant had one and he cryed when my grandma took it to wash it . and when she gave it back to her she said that the blanket was not  the same lol!

My baby's got one.  Ok, well two.  He likes a certain kind, and doesn't care which one I give him.  So if I want to wash one I give him the other.  He sucks the satin part to fall asleep (he never much cared for pacifiers).  They're still clean for now =)  but he's only 1
