  1. Try to distract her by letting her play with a washcloth or something and try J&J lavender bedtime bath. My little girl doesn't like her hair washed either but shes fine as long as shes playing w/ something in the tub

  2. Some kids just hate water. Maybe give her a bunch of toys as a distraction, talk to her gently through the process.

  3. You may try this, I always had my babies put a wash rag over there eyes or face and it worked or even a favorite stuffed toy that can get wet.  As your doing that, make funny sounds and laugh so they will think its fun and not scary.

  4. Well just leave the bathing to mom or dad it is that simple.

Do the best you can as a baby sitter and family member for the precious baby, But don't go there with the bath thing.

This will gain a lot of respect towards you from baby as baby grows up into a young adult.

I am sure baby's mom will understand why you do not want to wash baby's hair.

  5. you can buy little chairs - let me try to link one for a photo of what i mean.  Anyway, it's like she'd be reclning in it and you could wash her hair without her feeling like she's falling back.  Even a rubber floating thingy might do.   Other than this I'd make sure I was really gentle with her head - I have a very, very senstive head and even when hairdressers are working on it the tears roll out of my eyes -im not crying but its just a reaction because it stings/hurts and feels like they're tugging.

  6. Just be gentle and talk in a soothing voice. It probably just freaks her out. She'll be okay. You shouldn't feel bad. Babies cry over a lot of things.
