Baby dad nearly chokes baby mom 2 death...?

me and my two kids 1 yr and 2months went to go visit their father my supposed to be bf. I get mad bcuz he was supposed to meet at the train station but he went home first. Okay i expressed to him how i feel packing two kids around by hand is a drag and he's not there to help blah blah blah. I'll say an hour after being at his apt. i made a comment that was a lil harsh i thought he'd just walk off like he usually do but instead i find myself backed up into a corner while he's choking me . My daughter is one and she witnessed this and I feel bad. This happened a couple of times within 20 to 30 minutes before he kicked us out his apt. i have bad scratches on my neck, behind my ears, my face and it's still hard to swallow food or drink. My question is it's been 4 days we live in missouri is it too late to press charges...he is on probation and owes 7 yrs.

And do NOT let him sweet talk you into a visit to see the kids or that he is sorry etc etc I was beaten by my ex and left for Dead. he told me he was sorry and i could come get my stuff. When I got there he beat me for 4 hours straight took a break and done it again.

STAY away do not take calls from him and press charges those charges will be a huge help when it comes down if he tries to get visiting with the kids. NEVER do it without supervision If you have to take out a Protective order Keep track of any attempts he does of contact and steer clear

There are battered women's groups to help with legal and everything else. Just google battered women shelter in your area even if you do not need shelter they will help

Press charges now and get him out of your life, because it's likely that when your children get older he will start hurting them too.
