Baby gates? What kind do you use? Do you like it? Where did you buy it?

I use a Safety 1st gate and it keeps falling over and not tight enough in the door jam.

I hate baby gates... what a pain!!  I probably have the same safety first gate as you and I have the same problem, especially in areas that aren't perfectly square.  I also have a wooden gate (don't know what brand).  I like it better, but long term pressure on the wal caused the paint to come off in a huge chunk.

I was so happy the day she climbed over them... that means they are more dangerous than safe at that point.

I saw one a babies r us that can extend MUCH farther than a regular baby gate and the center has a plastic see through piece so baby can see what's going on but I thought it was pretty neat I'm going to give it a whirl asap!!  Good Luck

I use a similar gate to the one Joshua uses.  It's less decorative, and less expensive. My son is ten, and we STILL have them in place, and use them. One handed operation, and almost impossible to climb. They keep the dog corralled now, and visiting toddlers.
