Baby getting feelings hurt??

Question

my baby is 8 months old and my husband comes home every day at 7. well, my baby starts crawling towards the door and looking around at about 6:45. she obviously can't tell time so how does she know he's about to come in? has that just become part of her daily schedule? also, if he doesn't pick her up right away then she lays on her belly and screams and cries. is she mad that she didn't get her way or are her feelings being hurt?

yes, she can tell some what of time.  Even a baby can tell when someone is about to come in..

as for her crying when he does not pick her up.. yes, it is effecting her..

when i son cries when he doesn't get picked up immediately by dad when he gets home i figure it's just cus he isn't getting what he wants, and though i think it's sweet he wants his daddy i try not to give my hubby a hard time if he rather go change first or whatever cuz let's face it our little dear can't ALWAYS get what he wants when he wants it

He is breaking her heart every tine he comes from work,she might be a small person but she has feelings.I would first tell him ,then right when he is ready to turn the door k**b,pick her up,when he comes in,happily had her to him!If nothing else she will get her acknowledgment she wants and deserves.

Either shes really intelligent by getting her feeling hurt, or shes not getting her way but i guess really shes just not getting her way is making her upset.
