I'm 40 weeks and 3 days over due. Whenever I eat something the baby gets reallllly hard like if shes stretching. Has this ever happened to anyone? Sometimes since I'm due any day now I even hurts a little. So I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone after they eat.

  1. sometimes my baby pushes to the front like he's stretching, and it's reallyannoyinge, it's like he is trying to push himself out!! lool.

When i over eat, it gets crowded inside, so that is probably what is happening to you, so try eating in smaller portions if that helps

  2. Sounds like it might be more intense braxton hicks. I went 2 weeks over due with my first daughter and i kept getting this constantly. Midwife told me it was braxton hicks and body still preparing for the real thing.

  3. Well you know how you feel after you eat right? Most of us with full bellies want to lay down and stretch out if we can, well the baby wants to do the same thing, he/she is all curled up and then starts getting some good stuff in it's belly and gets a little energy to try and move and stretch a little but considering there's not much room right now, then alls it's doing is pushing against you and it can hurt really bad sometimes!! It's all part of the wonderful pregnancy process, just enjoy because it will all be over sooner....with that happening atleast you know you're baby is okay because their moving.

  4. sounds like braxton hicks to me...if they start hurting go to the hospitol good luck!

  5. i think i know what your talking about does it feel like you have a rock in your belly??well mine does it when i lay on my back i dont think he likes that but i wonder why that happens
