Other than size, they pretty much look the same although adults are chubbier.  They are the only animal that is born fully developed and ready to leave the mother if necessary although it's best if they can nurse for a week or two first.  They can eat adult food within moments of being born if they can reach it...again, they should be kept with the mother for the first two weeks but males need to be taken away by the time they are three weeks old so they don't get their mother pregnant.
