Baby holding bottle on their own...

at what age did your guys babies start holding their bottles on their own?

My cousin baby did it at 1 month. Mine did it at 5 months old. It depends on your baby. Some babies are stubborn and want mommy to hold it all the time!

she started trying to hold it at 3 months but it was to heavy. i would say by 4 months she had it down. (she is now 9 months and the size of a large 18 month)

Both of my sons were between 7 and 8 months old when they started holding their own bottles.

Different babies hold them at different times-I think it depends on how long you breastfeed (if you do so) before giving a bottle. My youngest was only breastfed for 6 weeks and was holding a bottle at around 6 months where as the younger 2 were breastfed for a lot longer (7 months a piece) so weren't holding their bottles until around 8 or 9 months.

Around 8 months was when my wee sister started, but all babies are different so it varies from baby to baby.  You shouldn't compare babies as they develope at their own rate =]
