  1. give him crickets? something yummy

everyone i know lets their iggys go on lead walks around the garden

  2. How long have you had him?  Iguanas are notoriously bad movers - that is, when they are introduced into a new place they don't handle it well.  If you have gotten your iguana sometime in the last few weeks, then finicky eating is to be expected.

Letting baby iguanas free roam is not really a good idea.  They run like crazy and are very hard to catch, so much so that you risk injury to them or yourself trying to do it.  However, as they get older and calm down, you can start to let them roam around the house - eventually working up to a free roaming iguana.  Just be sure to iguana-proof your house by not having anything laying around in the floor, capping your wall sockets, etc.  http://www.greenigsociety.org/igproof.ht...

As for outdoors, I do take mine out on a leash.  Its great for them to get natural sun.  Sometimes they get scared at the sudden change in space (going from enclosed to suddenly very open).  For that reason I also have a sunning cage I built with wheels on it so I can roll it out.

    Good luck!

ps - never feed an iguana crickets.  Where this disinformation that iguanas eat bugs came from I'll never know, but its WRONG and DEADLY to the animal!

  3. ive let my iguanas walk around my house and my back yard
