hi, i am going to magalluf at the end of august, does anyone know if they sell cow and gate baby milk or what baby milk they sell. as i am debating weather to take my powdered milk but worried it will damage during travel as its in a cardboard carton, was going to but it in little sealed bags but thought might get stopped and they be mistaken for something else.also do the restaurants have highchairs out there. i am taking a 11month old so if anyone else has any other information for taking a baby please let me know thank you.

sorry loads of questions but worried mother.

  1. I wouldnt worry hunny,iv just been down that way my self (fuengirola spain) and they have english supermarkets also in the spanish ones on the tourists locations sell english produce. And their was no probs getting highchairs even in the hotels.

  2. You are probably able to buy more british brands in majorca now than spanish. I wouldnt be worrying so much.

  3. Spain is an industrialized country.  They have cow's milk, and powdered baby formula, and high chairs, there.

They may not have easy access to your brand of formula, so bring your own if your child is allergic or for whatever reason, needs something special.   Don't mess with sealed bags.  Just bring it in the original package, but even if you do, no one is going to give you much grief over it.  If they have to taste it, they will know it isn't illegal.  Besides, coke is a different color from formula.  I think the security people at the airport will be able to recognize the difference.

Formula and milk can be bought at grocery stores, and the high chair that you need in the lodging should be available if you ask for it with your reservation (that sort of thing should be easily amendable.)  Don't

  4. They do sell it but put a tin of it in suitcase, when going on plane you can only take 100mls in bottles, they do have high chairs but time for feeding are usually later than us about 7pm for evening meals. magaluf is not a place I would have chosen to go with children it is full of teenagers and noise.

  5. hi

i got back from maga at the end of july.

they do sell baby milk and foods out there.

it depends on the restaraunt if they have baby seats...i found palmanova (which is a short walk from magaluf) more child friendly.

  6. What a question..! Sure they have that - and even electricity, running water and the more. Don't worry, Mallorca is part of the developed western world.
