Baby musk turtle :)?

Question

i have a lil baby musk turtle named squirt. ive had him for 2 weeks now and hes seems pretty healthy to me swiming basking (very cute pic of him basking) and all tho ive not seen him eat ive seen floaty stuff in the water im not sure if hes shedding or what? but last night i saw something coming from his butt :) it was small and lite brown im not sure what turtle poo looks like? can any one tell me...i have been giving him hydro life to help him start eating, ive also have been feeding him pellets food the adopton place gave me (looks like cat food) i tried some crickets and worms and dry freeze blood worms...but like i said i think hes eating since i seen that poo i guess come out of his butt....and thoughts?oh and i have everything he needs heat lights and filter hes good to go:)

My musk turtle is about 4" around, and I feed mine fileted fish, NightCrawlers sprinkled with shaved cuttlebone, and I give him veggies (carrots, broccoli, strawberries, and grapes) once a week for a treat. Several other people I know own Musk turtles and this seems to be a preferred varied diet for them.

Sounds like p**p to me!  I have one...they make a mess.  It's important to not only have a good water filter but to change the water often to keep it crystal clean.  Filters don't remove ammonia which is very harmful!
