Baby name panic??? help please

Question

our first baby is due aug 12, so it can really be any day now. but we can't decicde on a name. could you good people of the internet help us. we don't yet if its a boy or a girl. please send me as many names as you can. and it would be more helpfull if you could record them on a wav file or something lilke that and email them to me. sometimes reading a name is not good enough but hearing it....might be just what were looking for. thanks and please help

My advice to you is this:

Don't panic.

My mother and father didn't name me until the day before they left the hospital with me.  You will still have a little time to decide even after the baby is born.  Don't let yourself freak out because then you might pick something that is not great since your judgement is clouded.

On the Social Security website you can look up the most popular names by year.  It might give you some inspiration to look at more old-fashioned names.  Find out what year your grandma was born and check out the most popular names that year! It might not help you find anything you want but it will definitly help you figure out what you DON'T want.  ^_-

Just please don't give your baby some crazy made up name.  You will think of something, no worries.
