Okay...I have 3 boys and a baby on the way. The boys names are Clayton, Christopher and Carter. I need help with a boys name and a girls name! I have a HUGE family and most of the "c" names I like for a boy are taken. Girl names, I'd like to start with "Kay...." my faves are Kayleigh and Kaylin - one of them is my step sister's daughters name, and the other is a grown cousins sons name.

SO...my questions are as followed

1. what are the guidelines for family names being used......

2. some cute boy "C" names

3. some cute girl "Kay...." names

Name in the fam already : Cameron, Caleb, Kelsey, Kayden, Carson, Kaley, Kaylynn, Keely, Chase, Colton....ummm I think that's it!!

  1. Boys: Caden, Clark, Chad, Corbin, Chandler, Chaz, Cody, Craig .

    Girls: Kayla, Kaycee, Kaydence.

  2. Callum, Charlie. Kaytlyn, Cieron, Kai, Cole, kaytie

    Good luck

  3. 1. I think that if you don't see a family member often, it would be fine to name your child after him. At Christmas it might be confusing to have two Calebs, but if you will only see Chase at uncle George's funeral, then feel free to name your little boy Chase if you like it. Just my opinion.

    2.Carl, Camden, Cason, Cole

3.(I'm not sure if you mean the letters kay- or just the sound, so you can adjust the spelling on these if you meant you wanted them to start with the actual letters) Kasey, Kade, Kara, Kayla, Kaydence

  5. I think if your baby will be aroudn a person a lot then you shouldn't use their name, but if it's a distant relative you will never see, why not?

What about Connor or Collin for a boy? I really love both of them.

    Fo a girl- Kaycee, Kayla

  6. i love the name kayleigh ...what about Kayley Summer?

  7. Check this website if you want to: http://babylist.info/, http://parentspackage.org/

  8. If you really like a name and it won't cause too much confusion in the family (during get-togethers, etc.), I think you should use it. For example, how often are you going to see your step sister's daughter or your grown cousin's son? You could even use a different spelling of the name to make it your "own." Kayleigh could be spelled Kaylee, Kayley, Kayli, Kaylei or multiple other ways if you aren't worried about keeping the "Kay" at the beginning (ex: Kaelee, Kaeleigh, Kaeley). And there are many different ways to spell Kaylin as well.

    For different names, how about...

Girl: Kaycee, Kaya, Kaydence, Kayanna, Kayla, Kaye

Boy: Callum, Corey, Casey, Cade, Camden, Cash, Charles (Charlie), Cass, Clark, Colby, Cole, Collin, Conner, Cooper, Cullen

  9. Cole, Connor

    Kaylee

  10. I really like Caitlin as a girls name. I would have liked it for our daughter but my sister named my niece first. As for boys, how about Charlie?

  11. Kaylinda, Kaytleen, Kayandra, Kayra

Cayden, Cordell, Christian, Corey, Claudius, Constantin,Clemens, Curtis, Cornelius, Connor

  12. OOO my favorite boys name is Connor or Collin, i love these names and i LOVE the names you have already chosen. For girls, I want to name my daughter Kylie Isabella. Another spellling of Kayleigh is Kayli or Kaylee, both are cute. I would say the guidelines would be not to use a name that has already been chosen

boy: Clayton, Connor, Cullen, Collin, etc.

  14. Colton, Kolby, Kasey - boys
